Moody’s Investor Service (“Moody’s”) Rating Change

Following the downgrade on the South African government sovereign rating to Ba2 with a negative outlook,
Moody’s downgraded the corporate family rating of Growthpoint Properties Limited to Ba2 with a negative outlook
from Ba1. Moody’s has affirmed the long-term national scale rating of Aa1.za.
