Covid-19 update - Polish shopping centres to re-open on 28 November 2020 EPP N.V. (Incorporated in The Netherlands) (Company number 64965945) JSE share code: EPP ISIN: NL0011983374 LEI Code: 7245003P7O9N5BN8C098 (“EPP” or “the company”) COVID-19 UPDATE - POLISH SHOPPING CENTRES TO RE-OPEN ON 28 NOVEMBER 2020 Shareholders are advised that the Polish government has announced the lifting of trading restrictions which had been imposed on all Polish shopping centres and retail locations measuring over 2,000 sqm of retail space from 7 November 2020. The shops will now be allowed to trade from Saturday 28 November 2020, with the second lockdown ending after only being in place for 3 weeks. This is much shorter than the 7-week lockdown in March and April 2020 and, as a result, its impact is expected to be materially less severe. Restaurants will be permitted to operate on a takeaway and delivery basis, and further decisions regarding opening of restaurants will be made by the government by 27 December 2020. Cinemas, fitness and entertainment facilities will remain closed. With effect from 28 November 2020, 89% of EPP’s retail portfolio in terms of GLA will be able to operate. The principles regarding social distancing will remain in place which include wearing a face mask and maintaining social distancing when in public spaces. Limits of people visiting the shopping centres have also been announced – maximum 1 person per 15 sqm of sales or service area. Due to the substantial areas of our retail properties, we expect to be able to efficiently serve the Christmas footfall within the allowed limits. EPP is pleased with the decision to re-open shopping centres earlier than expected, especially ahead of such an important trading period for its retail tenants. The company remains in close dialogue with the government, health and sanitary authorities and industry associations to ensure all health protocols are strictly followed, shopping continues to remain safe in the company’s retail locations and all shoppers, staff and employees are safe during this period. EPP will continue to monitor the situation and update the market accordingly. 26 November 2020 JSE Sponsor Java Capital Luxembourg Stock Exchange Listing Agent Harneys Luxembourg For more information: Curwin Rittles, Investor Relations, EPP Mobile: +48 885 982 310 Curwin.rittles@epp-poland.com Java Capital, JSE Sponsor Phone: +27 11 722 3050 Harneys Luxembourg, Luxembourg Stock Exchange Listing Agent Phone: +352 27 86 71 02 Singular Systems IR Michèle Mackey +27 (0)10 003 0700/+27 (0)82 497 9827 michele@singular.co.za Date: 26-11-2020 03:00:00 Produced by the JSE SENS Department.
