Dividends

Ordinary share dividend

Given the loss, and in line with Guidance Note 4 of 2020 issued by the Prudential Authority of the
SARB, the Group has not declared a final dividend for the year ended 30 June 2020.

Preference share dividend

The preference shares are non-redeemable, non-cumulative and non-participating. Preference
shareholders are entitled to receive dividends out of the profits of the Sasfin Holdings that it determines
to distribute. Given the Group’s losses, the Board has not declared a preference dividend for the
period 1 January 2020 to 30 June 2020.
