 DEALINGS IN SECURITIES BY AN ASSOCIATE OF A DIRECTOR OF THE COMPANY

Shareholders are advised that 8,808,624,705 ordinary shares has now been allotted and issued to MHMK
Group Limited (“MHMK Group”) through an off-market transaction in settlement of loan liabilities (“Specific
Issue”), in terms of an agreement concluded with MHMK Group on 19 March 2020, and following approval
of the Specific Issue by shareholders on 10 September 2020, as fully detailed in a circular to shareholders
dated 12 August 2020.

MHMK Group is an associate of Mr G Manyere, an executive director and chief executive officer of the
Company, by virtue of the fact that the Mr G Manyere is a beneficiary of the sole shareholder of MHMK
Group. MHMK Group Proprietary Limited, a wholly subsidiary of MHMK Group, is a material shareholder of
the Company and therefore MHMK Group is a related party to Ecsponent in terms of paragraph 10.1(vii) of
the JSE Listings Requirements.

Accordingly, in compliance with paragraphs 3.63 to 3.74 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
the following information is provided:
