SABCAP APPOINTS DEPUTY CFO

In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Sabcap is pleased to advise shareholders
that Mr Kyle De Matteis (36) will join the Group on 1 October 2020 as Deputy CFO.

Kyle holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting and is
a CA (SA) and CFA. Kyle started his career in different roles with Deloitte including Financial
Institution Services, Capital Markets and Rapid Commercialisation in RSA, Financial Services in New
York and Risk and Regulation in London. He was head of credit at Merchant Capital. In the last few
years he was a senior financial manager at Brait South Africa and then with Ethos Private Equity
(when it was awarded the Brait SE Group advisory contract earlier this year).

The Board welcomes Kyle and looks forward to him joining the Sabcap executive team.
