EXTENSION OF BOARD APPOINTMENTS

Following previous announcements in relation to appointments to the board of directors of DBSA (the
“Board”) for a period of three years, noteholders are advised that DBSA has extended the tenure of
Board appointments for a period of three months from 1 August 2020 until 1 November 2020 or such
time as the appointment process for new directors to the Board is finalised by the Minister, whichever
is the earlier.

The extensions of term of office of the Board apply to the following directors:

•   Mr Blessing Mudavanhu;
•   Mr Lufuno Nematswerani;
•   Ms Zanele Monnakgotla;
•   Ms Bulelwa Ndamase;
•   Ms Lethogonolo Noge-Tungamirai;
•   Ms Pinkie Nqeto;
•   Ms A Sing; and
•   Professor M Swilling.

A further announcement will be made once the appointment process of new directors has been
finalised.
