TRADING STATEMENT


In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that there is a reasonable
degree of certainty that the financial results for the next reporting period will differ by more than
20% from those of the previous corresponding period.

Accordingly, a review of the financial results for the six month period ended 31 December 2019 by
management has indicated, with a reasonable degree of certainty, that the earnings per share is
expected to be between 5.1 cents and 5.6 cents compared to the loss per share of 6.3 cents in the
previous corresponding period, being between 181% and 189% higher than the period ended 31
December 2018. Headline earnings per share is expected to be between 4.8 cents and 5.3 cents
compared to the headline loss per share of 6.4 cents in the previous corresponding period, being
between 175% and 183% higher than the period ended 31 December 2018.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or
reported on by SilverBridge’s auditors. SilverBridge’s financial results are expected to be released
on SENS on or about 18 February 2020.
