CHANGE IN DAIMLER AG’S SHAREHOLDING IN MERCEDES-BENZ SA

Noteholders are hereby advised that on 4 November 2019, in the context of the Issuer’s programme
memorandum dated 21 December 2018 (the “Programme Memorandum”) under its
ZAR35,000,000,000 Domestic Medium Term Note Programme (the “Programme”), Daimler AG (the
Guarantor) contributed its 100% shareholding in the Issuer to its wholly owned subsidiary, Mercedes-
Benz AG. Mercedes-Benz AG is henceforward the direct sole shareholder of the Issuer and Daimler
AG the indirect shareholder of the Issuer.

Noteholders are further advised that the above change in shareholding will have no impact on the
effectiveness of the Guarantee (as defined in the Programme Memorandum) provided by the
Guarantor in favour of the Noteholders under the Programme.
