TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the JSE Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as
they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be
reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from the financial results for the previous corresponding
period.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised that Andulela expects that its loss and diluted loss per share for the
six months ended 30 June 2019 will be between 22.19 and 26.63 cents per share, compared to the loss and
diluted loss of 10.85 cents per share for the six months ended 30 June 2018. The main contributor to the
increase in the loss is an impairment of plant and equipment by one of the subsidiaries of the Group.
The headline loss and diluted headline loss per share are not expected to differ by more than 20% from the
headline and diluted headline loss per share reported for the same period in 2018.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by
the company’s auditors.
The financial results for the six months ended 30 June 2019 are expected to be released on or about
26 September 2019.
