                                                 SWITCH AUCTION ANNOUNCEMENT

The National Treasury will conduct a switch auction of the Fixed Rate Bonds on Friday, 26 April 2019.

Details of the auction are as followings:

Auction Date                                    :                         26 April 2019

Settlement date                                 :                         02 May 2019

Starting Time                                   :                         12h00 pm

Closing Time                                    :                         12h30 pm

Auction Results                                 :                         by 13h00

Possible Source Bonds                           :                         R207 (7.25%:2020)

Switch Amount                                   :                         R10 000 million

The following bonds will be the possible destination bonds.

R2023(7.75%:2023), R186(10.50%:2026), R2030(8.00%:2030), R213(7.00%:2031), R2032(8.25%:2032),
R2035(8.875%2035), R209(6.25%2036), R2037(8.50%:2037), R2040(9.00%:2040), R214(6.50%:2041),
R2044(8.75%:2044), and R2048(8.75%:2048).

The yields for both final source and destination bonds will be published at 12h15 on Friday, 26
April 2019.
