AVAILABILITY OF THE ACCOUNTS OF THE REPUBLIC OF NAMIBIA FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2016

The Issuer wishes to advise bondholders that the accounts of the Republic of Namibia for the year ended 31
March 2016 (“2016 financial statements”), as signed by the Auditor General, is available for inspection at the
registered office of the Issuer and has also been made available on the following website
http://www.oag.gov.na/web/auditor-general/financial-audit-reports-for-the-government-of-namibia.

Bondholders are also advised that the audit report on the 2016 financial statements of the Issuer was qualified,
an emphasis of matter paragraph included.

The Emphasis of Matter was due to the following reasons:
    1.  Differences between Original budget and Appropriation Account;
    2.  Differences between Appropriation Account and General Ledger;
    3.  Differences between Appropriation Act and General Ledger; and
    4.  Other matters.

Please refer to the 2016 financial statements for further details on this emphasis of matters.

Bondholders are further advised that the accounts of the Republic of Namibia for the year ended 31 March
2017, as signed by the Auditor General, will be made available once tabled at parliament. A further
announcement will be released once available.
