Trading update BRIKOR LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 1998/013247/06) (Share Code: BIK ISIN Code: ZAE000101945) (“Brikor” or “the Company” or “the group’’) Trading update In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the JSE Limited (“JSE”) Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% from the previous corresponding period. A review by management of the financial results for the six-month period ended 31 August 2018 has indicated, with a reasonable degree of certainty, that earnings per share (“EPS”) of Brikor Limited (“Brikor”) is expected to be between 1.0 cents and 1.4 cents compared to that of the previous corresponding period which reported EPS of 2.2 cents per share for the six-month period ended 31 August 2017. This equates to a decrease in EPS of between 54.5% and 36.4% when compared to the previous reporting period. Headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) is expected to be between 0.2 cents and 0.6 cents compared to the previous corresponding period which reported HEPS of 1.9 cents per share for the six-month period ended 31 August 2017. This equates to a decrease in HEPS of between 89.5% and 68.4% when compared to the previous reporting period. The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by Brikor’s auditors.
