Appointment of Rand Water’s Acting Chief Executive Mr Sipho
Mosai


Pursuant to   the SENS notice released on 8 October 2018,
noteholders   are advised that the Board of Rand Water is pleased
to announce   the appointment of the Acting CE, Mr. Sipho Mosai
with effect   22 October 2018.

Mr Mosai is a Scientist by training turned Strategist with an
impeccable track record in the Water Sector. His notable
business acumen is affirmed by him serving as an acclaimed
Senior Executive and Board member in various institutions. He
has over 20 year’s executive management and technical experience
in Operations, Scientific Services, Strategic Asset Management
and Sector Growth / Development, of which 10 years is being
served at the helm of Rand Water. His role as the Chief
Operating Officer (COO), serving since 1st April 2009 has seen
him play an integral part in the formulation and execution of
the Rand Water strategy and his wealth of knowledge of the
company and the sector will continue to contribute to the long
term sustainability of the organisation.

The Board of Rand Water is confident of Mr Mosai’s capabilities
in leading the Organisation for the period appointed and will
afford him all the support required during his tenure as Acting
Chief Executive. His Experience in the entire water value chain,
including water resource management and well-established network
within the industry supports the continued execution of the
strategy and operations of Rand Water.
The BOard would like to extend their appreciation to all their
Stakeholders for their cooperation and continued support of Rand
Water’s, Vision, Mission and Strategy.
