Changes to the Board of Rand Water Board

Rand Water Chief Executive, Mr Percy Sechemane joins Trans Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA)

This serves to inform noteholders of the departure of the Chief Executive, Mr. Percy Sechemane from
Rand Water as he leaves to lead the Trans Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA). He led Rand Water with
skill and dexterity both at a National and Global scale. His term ended on 31st August 2018 and was
extended for five years to the 31st August 2023. This was a further acknowledgement of his successful
steering of the organisation towards financial viability, effective strategy execution and maintenance of
the organization’s reputation.

His success at Rand Water has better prepared him to lead another strategic organization along the
water value chain, the Trans Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA). We are proud as Rand Water that Mr
Sechemane comes from within our ranks.

Mr. Sechemane is not lost to the Water Sector as he leaves behind a dedicated Executive Management
team whom he led for the last decade towards the long term sustainability of Rand Water that has
enabled the delivery of potable water to the citizens of its mandated area of supply. The Shareholder,
Board and Management of Rand Water extend their best wishes to Mr. Sechemane as he starts his new
role as the Chief Executive of TCTA, effective 22nd October 2018.
