Moody’s has revised the Anglo American plc (‘AA plc’) outlook to
positive from stable. Baa3/P-3 ratings affirmed.


In accordance with paragraph 4.27 of the JSE Debt Listings
Requirements, noteholders are advised that Moody’s has affirmed
the senior unsecured ratings of AA plc and its subsidiaries at
Baa3. Moody’s has also affirmed the short term rating of P-3.
Concurrently, Moody’s affirmed the Company’s national scale
rating (‘NSR’) of Aa1.za. The outlook on all the ratings has
been changed to positive from stable. AA plc is the Guarantor
under Anglo American SA Finance Ltd’s ZAR20bn DMTN Programme.
