Minister of Transport Statement on recent developments at ACSA

We refer to the SENS announcement released on 24 April 2018
relating to the issuer’s board changes.

The Minister of Transport, Dr Blade Nzimande, on 30 May 2018,
issued a media statement confirming that he is giving full
attention to restoring good corporate governance and financial
 prudence at ACSA.

The Minister has emphasised that he is dedicated to stabilising
ACSA by ensuring that all the vacant positions at Board level
are duly occupied, which will then lead to the appointment of a
new Chief Executive Officer appointed by the new board.

The minister has further stated that while this process to
appoint a new board is underway, Mr. Bongani Maseko being the
current CEO, will have his contract extended for a period not
exceeding six (6) months, in order to ensure that there is no
vacuum of leadership, especially at the senior management level.
