SUSPENSION ON THE EXCHANGE OPERATED BY JSE LIMITED

Shareholders are advised that the New York Stock Exchange (“Exchange” or “NYSE”) has
announced today (this announcement can be accessed at https://ir.theice.com/press/press-
releases/nyse-regulation/2018/suspensions/erinenergycorporation_suspension2018) that the
staff of NYSE Regulation determined to commence proceedings to delist the common stock
of Erin Energy from the Exchange. Consequently, trading in the Company’s common stock
on the NYSE was suspended immediately.

Further to the above, trade in common shares on the exchange operated by JSE Limited has
been suspended with immediate effect.

Shareholders will be kept informed of developments in this regard.
