CHANGE IN DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND CHANGE IN COMPANY SECRETARY

Shareholders are advised of the following changes in director responsibilities and company secretary in
terms of paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, which are effective from 1 April 2018:

Mr. Akhter Moosa, Mr. Lou Alberts and Mr. Dinga Mncube, non-executive directors and members of the
audit committee of the Company, have been appointed as members of the combined audit and risk
committee;

Mr. Chris Booyens, executive director and chief financial officer of the Company, relinquishes his
responsibility as member of the risk committee of the Company; and

Mr. Charles Boles, non-executive director of the Company, has been appointed as member of the social,
ethics and transformation committee.

Further, Ms. Vanessa White, chief governance officer of the Company, will assume the role of company
secretary for the Company. The board extends its appreciation to iThemba Governance and Statutory
Solutions (Pty) Ltd, represented by Ms. Claire Middlemiss, for their valuable contribution in the role as
company secretary since February 2015.
