This is largely attributable to new customer acquisition of more than 20 000 customers per month, the launch of a broad range of external brands which were well-received by our customers, as well as further innovation in our core categories. Financial services achieved pleasing growth in both loan disbursements and the newly launched insurance products, as well as a strong credit performance. The group experienced a strong uptake in its digital offerings, with digital Retail sales growing by 48% and more than R1 billion of digital credit being extended during 2017. The group’s results for the year ended 31 December 2017 will be released on SENS on or about 8 March 2018.
