Steinhoff reschedules meeting with bankers to 19 December 2017

Steinhoff Group has rescheduled its meeting with bankers in London to 19 December 2017.

It has been Steinhoff’s practice to hold a private meeting annually with a group of its bankers from
various countries for a number of years. In these meetings, Steinhoff provided the bankers with
information about the published financial statements and also provided certain information
pertaining to the Steinhoff Europe Group’s budget for the year ahead.

On the assumption that the Group’s annual financial statements would be published on
6 December 2017, this year’s meeting was scheduled to take place on Monday, 11 December 2017.
Given the fact that the publication of the 2017 financial statements has had to be postponed, for
reasons outlined in the statement published on 5 December 2017, the meeting originally scheduled
for 11 December 2017 will now take place on 19 December 2017.
