CHANGE TO THE DESIGNATION OF A DIRECTOR

Trans Hex shareholders are advised that Mr Quinton George’s designation has changed from non-
executive director to independent non-executive director with effect from 18 July 2017.

Mr Quinton’s change in designation follows a review of his independence in line with the JSE Limited
Listings Requirements, as read with King IV Report on Corporate Governance for South Africa 2016.
