2000 in terms of section 12(1) read with section 14(2) of the Local Government: Municipal Structures Act,
1998, as amended)

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF MUNICIPALITY NAME

Holders are advised that the Issuer has changed its name from Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality to
City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality with effect from 01 June 2017.

Notice No. 517 of 2017 published in the Gauteng Provincial Gazette Extraordinary dated 05 June 2017
reflecting the change of municipality name is available on the Issuer’s website at the following link
