RESIGNATION AND APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

In accordance with paragraph 3.59(b) of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are hereby
informed that Mr Jianke Gao has resigned from his positions
as Chief Executive Officer and executive director with effect
from 14 February 2017. He will officially leave the company
within two months.

The Board would like to thank Mr Gao for his valuable
contribution to the Company and wishes him well on his future
endeavours.

Wesizwe is pleased to announce the appointment to the company
of Mr Zhimin Li as the new Chief Executive Officer and
executive director to the board of the company with effect
from 15 February 2017.

Mr Li holds a Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering from
KunMing University of Science and Technology in China. He has
over 30 years experience in mining and civil engineering
construction obtained through working in China for the
Jinchuan Group and in Africa including other foreign
jurisdictions where he managed multi - million Rand projects.
The board welcomes Mr Li and wishes him well in his new role
which amongst others will be prioritising the completion of
the Bakubung mine project.
