CORRECTION TO THE DATE OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING ON THE FORM OF PROXY

Shareholders are referred to the Company’s 2016 Integrated Annual Report, incorporating the
notice of annual general meeting which was distributed to shareholders of Coronation on
Friday, 30 December 2016.

The form of proxy attached to the notice of meeting incorporated in the Company’s 2016
Integrated Annual Report reflects an incorrect date of the annual general meeting as being held
on 14 February 2016. This should in fact read as 14 February 2017. The incorrect date of the
annual general meeting on the form of proxy however, does not render the form of proxy
invalid. Shareholders are advised that the forms of proxy with the incorrect date of the annual
general meeting will be taken into account for purposes of the quorum and voting on the
resolutions proposed at the annual general meeting. The revised form of proxy reflecting the
correct date of the annual general meeting is available on the Company’s website at
www.coronation.com.

Shareholders are reminded that the annual general meeting of the Company will be held at
11h30 on Tuesday, 14 February 2017, in the boardroom of the offices of the Company at 7 th
Floor, MontClare Place, Cnr Campground and Main Roads, Claremont, Cape Town.
