Trading Statement CARGO CARRIERS LIMITED (Registration Number 1959/003254/06) Share code: CRG ISIN: ZAE000001764 ("Cargo Carriers" or "the Company") TRADING STATEMENT In terms of paragraph 3.4(b)(i) of the Listings Requirements of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (“JSE”), listed companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% from those of the previous corresponding period. Shareholders are advised that Cargo Carriers’ earnings and headline earnings per share, including discontinued operations, for the year ended 29 February 2016 are expected to be between 84.9 cents and 102.5 cents and 90.0 cents and 108.6 cents respectively, being 30% to 42% lower compared to the earnings per share of 146.4 cents and headline earnings per share of 155.1 cents for the year ended 28 February 2015. Cargo Carriers' earnings per share from continuing operations are expected to be between 163.8 cents and 177.5 cents, being 20% to 30% higher compared to the earnings from continuing operations of 136.5 cents for the prior year. Headline earnings per share from continuing operations are expected to be between 160.1 cents and 173.4 cents, being 20% to 30% higher compared to the headline earnings from continuing operations of 133.4 cents for the prior year The discontinued operations relate to the sale of Cargo Carriers’ 55% shareholding in its Zambian subsidiary.
