RESIGNATION OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that
Mrs Funke Ighodaro, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, has resigned from the Company
to pursue other interests. Mrs Ighodaro has agreed to continue in her role as Chief Financial Officer
and Executive Director until 31 July 2016.

The Board wishes to thank Mrs Ighodaro for her valuable contributions to Tiger Brands over the past
five years, and notes that she has successfully led a number of strategic cost initiatives during her
tenure at Tiger Brands and that she was instrumental in ensuring the successful sale of the group’s
interest in Tiger Branded Consumer Goods Company (formerly Dangote Flour Mills). The Board
thanks her for her dedication, commitment and leadership to Tiger Brands over the past five years
and wishes her the best in her future endeavours.

The Board is currently considering its options with regards to a successor and details will be
announced in due course. As previously announced, the company will report its financial results for
the six months ended 31 March 2016 on 24 May 2016.
