NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the sixth annual general meeting of MTN Zakhele shareholders will be held at
Gallagher Convention Centre, 19 Richards Drive, Midrand, Johannesburg on Monday, 30 May 2016 at 11:00
(South African time) to transact the business as stated in the notice of annual general meeting.

The notice of annual general meeting (and accompanying explanatory notes) has been posted to
shareholders on or about 22 April 2016 and is available on the Company’s website at: www.mtnz.co.za

Accordingly the salient dates in respect of the annual general meeting are as follows:
