In compliance with section 3.59 of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are
advised that Burt Lambrecht, the Acting Chief Financial Officer of Ansys has been
appointed as the Chief Financial Officer of Ansys retrospectively from 1 April 2016.

The board of directors welcomes Burt and look forward to his contribution to the Company.
