TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of the JSE Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as
they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be
reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from the financial results for the previous corresponding
period.

Accordingly, shareholders are advised that Andulela expects that its headline loss and diluted headline loss
for the year ended 31 December 2015 will be between 16.19 cents per share and 19.43 cents per share, being
an improvement of between 29% and 15% as compared to its headline loss and diluted headline loss of
22.74 cents per share for the year ended 31 December 2014.

The loss per share and diluted loss per share are expected to be within the 20% range as compared to the loss
and diluted loss of 26.96 cents per share reported for the year ended 31 December 2014.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by
the company’s auditors.

The financial results for the year ended 31 December 2015 are expected to be released on or about 31 March
2016.
