SABMiller plc was notified on 20 August 2015 that Mr M Bowman, a PDMR, had acquired 170
SABMiller ordinary shares at a price of ZAR669.07 per share. The transaction took place in
Johannesburg on 14 August 2015.

On the same day SABMiller plc was notified that The Fairbairn Trust Company Limited as trustee
for the Patchmattbelle Trust, a connected person to Mr M Bowman, had acquired 4150 SABMiller
ordinary shares at a price of £32.815 per share. The transaction took place in London on 18
August 2015.
