VOLUNTARY TRADING STATEMENT

In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the listings requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are
advised that Iliad’s results for the six months ended 30 June 2015 will reflect an earnings per share
(EPS) of between 31.0 to 32.5 cents per share for the period, compared to earnings of 30.3 cents per
share in 2014, reflecting an increase of between 2.31% and 7.26% on the previous period.

The headline earnings per share (HEPS) for the period will be between 31.0 and 32.0 cents per share,
compared to headline earnings of 30.0 cents per share in 2014, reflecting an increase of between
3.33% and 6.67% on the previous period.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed by the
Company’s auditors. The Company’s interim results will be released on or about 25 August 2015.
