PLACEMENT OF 27 629 738 NEW ATLANTIC LEAF SHARES


In accordance with the authority granted to them on 7 May 2015, the directors of Atlantic Leaf are pleased to
announce that it has successfully raised GBP30.4 million (ZAR567.5 million) by way of a private placement of
Atlantic Leaf shares to invited investors (“the private placement”).

Through the private placement, the company has placed 27 629 738 new Atlantic Leaf shares with investors (“the new
Atlantic Leaf shares”) as follows:

    -   12 437 785 new Atlantic Leaf shares at GBP1.10 per share, raising approximately GBP13.7 million
        (ZAR255.5 million) through the company’s Mauritian share register; and

    -   15 191 953 new Atlantic Leaf shares at ZAR20.54 per share, raising approximately GBP16.7 million
        (ZAR312.0 million) through the company’s South African share register.

The proceeds raised from the private placement will be used to fund the purchase of property opportunities identified
by management and forming part of the company’s acquisition pipeline.

The new Atlantic Leaf shares are expected to list and trade on the Alternative Exchange of the JSE Limited (“JSE”)
and the Stock Exchange of Mauritius Limited (“SEM”) from Monday, 15 June 2015. Investors will have their CSDP
and CDS accounts credited with the new Atlantic Leaf shares on or before Monday, 15 June 2015.

The new Atlantic Leaf shares will rank pari passu in all respects with existing Atlantic Leaf shares in issue. Following
the issue of the new Atlantic Leaf shares, the company will have a total of 61 571 044 shares in issue.

Atlantic Leaf has its primary listing on the SEM and a secondary listing on the JSE.
