Publication of the audited financial results for the year ended 30 September 2014 for African
Bank Limited

1. In a Stock Exchange News Service (“SENS”) announcement issued on 22 April 2015
   (“Publication of the audited financial results for the year ended 30 September 2014 for African
   Bank Limited’) the Curator of African Bank stated that African Bank expected to provide the
   annual financial results and audited financial statements for the financial year ended 30
   September 2014 (“the Results”) during May 2015.

2. While the Curator has now finalised the annual financial results, the external auditors of
   African Bank Limited have requested the delay in the publication of the Results in order to
   finalise certain audit related matters.

3. The Curator will consequently not release the Results during May 2015, but now still expects
   to release them during June 2015, subject to SARB approval.

4. As previously stated in the SENS referred to above the Curator expects to release the
   reviewed results for African Bank for the six months ended 31 March 2015 during June 2015,
   subject to SARB approval.

5. This announcement relates solely to the publication of the results for African Bank Limited and
   not to the publication of the results of African Bank Investments Limited.
