CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS – APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Shareholders of CSG (“Shareholders”) are referred to the announcement published by the Company
on the Stock Exchange News Service of the JSE Limited (“JSE”) dated 13 March 2015 (“the
Announcement”).

Further to the publication of the Announcement and in accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE
Listings Requirements, Shareholders are hereby advised that Ms Mathukana Mokoka (“Ms Mokoka”)
has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of the Company and as member of the
Company’s audit and risk committee and social and ethics committee with effect from 25 May 2015.

Summary curriculum vitae of Ms Mokoka:

Ms Mokoka is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) SA who completed her articles with Arthur
Andersen (KPMG), and has more than 10 years of post-articles experience. Her career has directed
her to be able to offer a diversity of work experience in strategic & financial management, corporate
finance and the deal making environment.

Ms Mokoka’s work experience includes, amongst others, employment by one of South Africa’s largest
banks where she was employed as a dealmaker, providing deal sourcing, financial structuring,
negotiation and execution of leveraged financed type transactions in the business banking division of
the bank. She has an understanding of Corporate Governance, the Public Finance Management Act
and Treasury Regulations, and the Companies Act and their implications for public and private
entities.

Ms Mokoka currently serves on various boards as an independent non-executive director, including
Autopax Passenger Services, National Lotteries Board and Schindler Lifts SA.

The CSG board welcomes the appointment of Ms Mokoka and looks forward to her contributions as a
director of the Company.
