CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
shareholders are advised that Ms Khanyisile Kweyama has
tendered her resignation from the board of Anglo American
Platinum with effect from 29 April 2015. Her current position
as Chief Executive Officer of Business Unity South Africa have
rendered it difficult for her to dedicate the time required to
execute her board responsibilities at Anglo American Platinum.

The board thanks Ms Kweyama for her contribution and guidance
during her tenure and wishes her all the best in her future
endeavours.
