APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Tiger Brands is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Michael Ajukwu as
independent non-executive director of the Company, with effect from 31 March
2015.

Michael holds a B.Sc. in Finance from the University of Lagos and MBA from New
York University. He is currently chairperson of Mobax Nigeria Ltd and also serves
as non-executive director on the boards of Intafact Beverages Ltd, a subsidiary of
SABMiller in Nigeria and Novotel, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, a member of Accor
hotels group. He was chairperson of Altech West Africa Ltd, from inception until
divestment. He spent 21 years in the banking sector, prior to his retirement in
2002 as executive board member of United Bank for Africa.

Michael brings with him extensive business experience in Africa and particularly
in Nigeria. The board welcomes the appointment of Michael and looks forward to
his contribution.
