CHANGES OF RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DIRECTORS

Shareholders are referred to the announcement of the unaudited interim results for
the six months ended 30 September 2014 published on SENS on 25 November 2014,
wherein it was advised Professor Saul Klein has decided not to offer himself for re-
election as a director and a member of the audit committee due to his international
commitments and accordingly the Board is required to fill the ensuing vacancy on the
audit committee.

In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited,
shareholders are advised that Mr JM Judin has stepped down as the independent non-
executive chairman with immediate effect and will become the independent non-
executive deputy chairman and a member of the audit committee.

Mr M Abel, the Chief Executive Officer, will be the acting chairman until such time as
a suitable appointment, who meets the transformation objectives of the Group, has
been finalised.
