Trading statement Ansys Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number 1987/001222/06) JSE Share code: ANS ISIN: ZAE000097028 ("Ansys" or the “Company”) Trading Update In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the JSE Limited (“JSE”) Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by more than 20% from the previous corresponding period. Accordingly, a review of the financial results for the year ended 28 February 2015 by management has indicated that headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) and earnings per share (“EPS”) are expected to be at least 3 cents per share which is an improvement in earnings of at least 180% when compared to the previous reporting period (2013: HEPS was a loss of 3.58 cents per share and EPS was a loss of 3.85 cents per share). A further trading statement will be published during April 2015 once the company has more certainty with regards to its financial results for the year ended 28 February 2015. Revenue for the year ended 28 February 2015 grew from R65,8 million to more than R230 million as a result of the inclusion of the full year results of Tedaka Technologies (Pty) Ltd, efficiencies achieved following the successful implementation of the turnaround strategy and the roll-out of the rail projects that were previously announced.
