In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited (“JSE”), the board of
directors (“the board”) wishes to advise shareholders that Mr FM Theart, Financial Director of the
Company, has tendered his resignation and will be leaving Nictus in February 2015 in order to
pursue other opportunities.

The board wishes to thank Mr Theart for his contribution to the Company and wishes him well in his
future endeavours.

The board is further pleased to announce the appointment of Mr HE Prozesky as Financial Director
of Nictus, with effect from 1 March 2015.

Mr Prozesky is a qualified chartered accountant (South Africa) and has been with the Nictus Group
for 3 years. The board would like to congratulate Mr Prozesky and wishes him well in this endeavour.
