BLOCK LISTING APPLICATION


Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange to
admit 46 ordinary shares of US$0.10 each to the official list and to trading. These shares
have been issued following the exercise of rights under the SABMiller plc South African
Stock Appreciation Rights Sub-Plan 2008.

Application has also been made to The UK Listing Authority and The London Stock Exchange
for block listings totalling 500,000 ordinary shares of US$0.10 each to be issued under the
SABMiller plc South African Stock Appreciation Rights Sub-Plan 2008.

Upon issuance the shares shall rank equally with the existing issued shares of the Company.
