FTSE and the JSE note the forthcoming rights issue announced by JD Group (South
Africa, 6479648). In view that the rights issue is underwritten by the controlling
shareholder, we will not be applying an adjustment for the rights issue ex 2nd June 2014
in FTSE/JSE indices.
