NOTICE OF AN ACQUISITION OF A BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES


Holders of linked units in Acucap (“Linked Units”) (“Linked Unitholders”) are referred to the
announcements released by Growthpoint Properties Limited (“Growthpoint”) on 14 April 2014
and by Acucap and Sycom Property Fund on 16 April 2014 wherein Linked Unitholders were
advised that Growthpoint had concluded agreements to acquire, in aggregate, 34.90% of all the
issued Linked Units, to be settled in a number of tranches. Linked Unitholders are hereby
advised that the acquisition by Growthpoint of the first tranche of Linked Units, comprising
28.80% of the issued Linked Units, was settled on Friday, 25 April 2014.


Accordingly, in compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008, as
amended, and paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, Linked Unitholders
are hereby advised that Acucap has received notification from Growthpoint in terms of section
122(1)(a) that, following the settlement of the first tranche of Linked Units acquired, Growthpoint
now has a 28.80% beneficial interest in Acucap (previously, 0%).
