TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of paragraph 3.4(b)(i) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, listed companies are required to publish a trading statement as
soon as they become reasonably certain that the financial results for the
next period to be reported on will be more than 20% different from those of
the previous corresponding period or from a profit forecast previously
provided to the market in relation to such period.

Shareholders are reminded that the company has changed its year end to 30
June each year and accordingly the interim results for the first six months
of the period ended 31 December 2013 are to be compared to the first six
months of the period ended 30 September 2012.

An initial review of the financial results for the 6 month period ended 31
December 2013 has indicated that the company will experience a substantial
decline in profits compared to the 6 month period ended 30 September 2012.
Accordingly, the basic earnings per share and the headline earnings per
share is expected to decrease by between 4.50 cents and 5.00 cents per
share from the unaudited figures published for the year 6 months ended 30
September 2012, which approximated 0.01 cents per share.

The financial information, on which this trading statement is based, has
not been reviewed or reported on by the company’s auditors.
