DIRECTOR RESIGNATION

Shareholders are advised that Mahomed Lockhat has resigned from the Board of Directors of Awethu with effect from 14 February 2014, and as Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee, Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Chairman of the Social and Ethics Committee.

We thank him for his contribution to the board and its committees as an independent non-executive director.
