Further announcement and withdrawal of cautionary announcement STRATCORP LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 2000/031842/06) JSE code: STA ISIN: ZAE 000034294 ("StratCorp" or “the Company”) Further announcement and withdrawal of cautionary announcement Shareholders are referred to the various cautionary announcements released over the past year relating to the investigation by the Financial Services Board (“the FSB”) of a subsidiary of the Company, the last of which was published on 6 November 2013. The company herewith wishes to provide further information and withdraw the cautionary announcement. The investigation by the FSB into the affairs of a subsidiary of the group commenced during 2009 and the final inspection report was issued on 15 December 2011. In a Notice received from the FSB during 2012 (“the Notice”), a number of alleged contraventions in terms of the FAIS Act were highlighted. The subsidiary in question was afforded the opportunity to reply to the Notice and submitted a comprehensive reply to the FSB on 3 December 2012 dealing with every point raised in the Notice. Subsequent thereto, the subsidiary had a meeting with the FSB on 9 April 2013 regarding the investigation and the subsidiary’s reply to the Notice. The FSB undertook to reply in due course. There have been no further developments in respect of the FSB’s investigation save as mentioned above and the directors are of the opinion that they have disclosed all the relevant information with regards to the FSB investigation of which they are aware, to the market. The cautionary announcement is therefore hereby withdrawn.
