UPDATE IN RESPECT OF THE CASH DISTRIBUTION


Shareholders are referred to the announcement setting out the salient dates in respect of the cash distribution
released on 13 September 2013.

Due to Monday, 14 October 2013 being a bank holiday in the United States of America, no payments can be
effected in US Dollars by the company on that day. Accordingly the cash distribution payment to
shareholders on the company’s Mauritian register will only be effected on Tuesday, 15 October 2013.

Payment details for shareholders on the South African sub-register will remain unchanged.

Rockcastle has its primary listing on the SEM and a secondary listing on the JSE.
