(“Nutritional Holdings” or “the Company”)

TRADING STATEMENT

In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listing 
Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required 
to inform shareholders as soon as there is a reasonable 
degree of certainty that the earnings of the company are 
likely to vary by more than 20% compared to the previous 
reporting period.

Shareholders are hereby advised that the basic earnings 
per share and headline earnings per share attributable 
to ordinary shareholders for the six months ended 31 August
2013 are expected to improve by more than 20%, as compared to
those reported for the previous corresponding period.

At this stage, the Company is unable to quantify, with reasonable
certainty, the expected interim financial results to be reported 
on. An updated trading statement will be released once the Company 
is able to quantify, with reasonable certainty, the expected range 
of the improvement in the financial results.

The information in this trading statement has neither been reviewed 
nor reported on by the Company’s external auditors.
