In compliance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that Mr BR Beamish has tendered his
resignation from the board of directors of the Company with effect from 30 September 2013. The resignation follows his
retirement from Anglo American plc as Group Director: Mining and Technology.

The Board wishes Mr Beamish all the best in his future endeavours.
