DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCEMENT

Holders of STANLIBSX securities ("Securities Holders") are referred to the
announcement dated Friday, 30 August 2013 setting out details of a possible
quarterly distribution by the ETF to Securities Holders.

Further to the above-mentioned announcement, the manager of the STANLIB ETF
Collective Investment Scheme (“the Manager”) has resolved to make a quarterly
distribution to Securities Holders for the quarter ended 30 September 2013
("the Distribution") in an amount of 8.30000 cents per STANLIBSX ETF
security. The distribution will be constituted as follows:

Gross Dividend (local to be taxed)              :     2.94000   cents
STC credits                                     :     0.04000   cents
Local Tax    (15%)                              :     0.43500   cents
Net dividend                                    :     2.50500   cents

Gross Dividend (foreign-dual)to be taxed        :     2.18000   cents
Foreign Tax Withheld          (5.046%)          :     0.11000   cents
SA tax applicable              (9.954%)         :     0.21700   cents
Net Dividend                                    :     1.85300   cents

Interest                                        :     0.36000 cents
Scrip Lending                                   :     2.93000 cents

The Security Holders who are not exempt from dividend tax will receive the
Net Dividend of 4.35800 cents per security.


The Distribution will be made to all Securities Holders recorded in the
register on Friday, 27 September 2013 and will be paid on Friday, 11 October
2013.
