CHANGES TO THE FUNCTIONS OF DIRECTORS

In compliance with rules 3.59(c) of the Listings Requirements
of the JSE Limited, shareholders are hereby advised of the
following changes to the functions of certain directors of the
Company with effect from 5 September 2013:

1.   Mr. C H Rickens has been appointed as joint chief
     executive director of the Company. Shareholders are
     further advised that Mr. H W Cloete will step down
     from this position at the end of January 2014.

2.   Mr. C A Hall has been appointed as chairperson of the
     board of directors of the Company and as a member of 
     the audit and risk committee.

3.   Dr. M K Makaba has stepped down from the position of
     chairperson of the board of directors of the Company 
     but remains a member of the audit and risk committee.

4.   Mr. J T Kleinhans has been appointed as the chairperson
     of the social and ethics committee.
